Abu Simbel Temples

The Abu Simbel Temples, carved into the mountainside by Ramses II, are one of Egypt's most impressive archaeological sites. The Great Temple features four colossal statues of Ramses II that face the sun, symbolizing his power and divinity. Visitors can explore both the Great Temple and the smaller Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Ramses' favorite wife.
